By downloading, installing, or using Pause Now ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Eagle Nguyen ("Developer"), an individual developer based in the United States.
Pause Now is a screen time and focus management application that allows users to block distracting apps, schedule blocking sessions, and track their productivity habits. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using Pause Now, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
Pause Now offers a limited free tier that allows users to block up to 3 apps. Access to premium features requires an active subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Pause Now offers the following premium plans:
New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of premium features. The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Your payment method on file with Apple will be charged at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Subject to these Terms, Eagle Nguyen grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

These permissions are used solely to provide the blocking functionality of the App. Granting these permissions is required for the App to function as intended.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Eagle Nguyen does not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EAGLE NGUYEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Eagle Nguyen's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eagle Nguyen from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Eagle Nguyen reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, Eagle Nguyen, or third parties.
Eagle Nguyen reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features at any time without notice. Eagle Nguyen shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
Eagle Nguyen may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Eagle Nguyen operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eagle Nguyen regarding your use of the App.
