Pause Now ("the App") is developed and operated by Eagle Nguyen, an individual developer based in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. By using Pause Now, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
All data generated by your use of the App is stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Hive and SharedPreferences). This includes:

Pause Now uses RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect certain information necessary to process transactions, including your Apple ID and purchase history. This data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy, available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
On iOS, Pause Now uses Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time APIs to block apps. These APIs operate entirely on-device. No app usage data is transmitted to us or any third party.
On Android, Pause Now uses the Accessibility Service to detect which app is in the foreground and enforce blocking. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted externally.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, we use it solely to:

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling Pause Now from your device. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data.
Pause Now is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this App, please contact us at eaglenguyen1@gmail.com.
Since all data remains on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security mechanisms (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, etc.). We do not have access to your data and therefore cannot be responsible for breaches resulting from unauthorized access to your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
